If you’re looking for a hidden gem of Levantine cuisine in the heart of Copenhagen, look no further than BeitSalma. Nestled conveniently at Fælledvej 13, 2200 København, this charming café invites you into a world where vibrant flavors and a cozy atmosphere converge. With an aesthetic that is both inviting and cultural, BeitSalma offers a dining experience that feels like a warm hug from the Mediterranean.

The reviews speak volumes about what to expect at BeitSalma. Customer Abhishek Ghosh beautifully captures the spirit of this café, noting the sublime décor that enhances your culinary journey. He describes the “fatter betanjen,” a dish that has received rave reviews for its rich creaminess and delightful crunch, topped off with sweet cashews. This is just a glimpse into the delightful menu that beckons diners to indulge in its offerings.

And it's not just the food that dazzles; the ambiance plays a significant role too. With spacious seating options both in the front and back, Priscilla Nieuwbuurt emphasizes how perfect it is for any social occasion, whether you’re taking a break during a busy day or catching up with friends over a leisurely lunch. The carefully curated interior creates a cozy, aesthetic space that draws you in, making your dining experience all the more pleasurable.

Customers have praised various dishes, and many have fallen in love with the sensational aubergine preparation, a dish that Raquel found to be nothing short of amazing. The attention to detail is seen not only in the flavors but also in the presentation of each dish, ensuring that your meal is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate.

Feeling nostalgic? Abe Darwiche describes BeitSalma as a “little piece of Beirut in CPH,” and it's easy to understand why. The warmth of the employees welcomes you the moment you step inside, making you feel right at home. With menu selections that echo the charm of Beirut's pastry shops, it’s impossible not to be tempted by the fragrant zaatar rolls or refreshing homemade lemonade, even with just a hint of mint.

For those who love feeling part of a vibrant community, Nikolaos Galatsanos highlights the friendly service that envelops you, making it a highly recommended spot for all. This café doesn’t merely serve food; it creates connections and memories, keeping you coming back for more.

Definitely the best place for Levantine food in town. The décor is sublime and super tastefully done, the prices and quantity are soul-satisfying, plating is super worthy of appreciation and the delicious meals are just to die for! The rich creaminess, crunchy delight and ample sweetness through the cashews of the “fatter betanjen” was what absolutely blew me away and will have me going back multiple times over! Beautiful space, incredible food, caring people. Perfect for breakfast or lunch, with loads of space in the front or back to take a break and to take some time to treat yourself with Lebanese deliciousness.

Amazing space and amazing dishes! We loved the aubergine, although everything was delicious. Very cozy and aesthetic space with a bigger room in the back for big groups

A little piece of Beirut in CPH. The moment you step in you’re greeted nicely by the staff. The menu selection is what you’d typically find at a pastry shop in BEY but with a twist. The lemonade was delicious but I’d prefer more mint. The dishes were very filling and you can taste the fresh ingredients. The zaatar roll was my favourite and really reminded me of the village back in Lebanon. Will definitely be back again when in the area.
